Today more than ever before, man’s requirements for energy are colossal and ever increasing as the consumption of primary energy is continuously growing through-out the world. Companies operating in these major sectors must meet an increasing world demand for energy; they continuously have to strike a balance between supply and demand, neither of which is uniformly spread over the planet. There are the major producers of primary energy materials who supply the world and the large consumers whose own energy production does not satisfy their needs. Therefore, companies in the energy sector must also provide for the transfer of raw energy materials from producers to consumers.
