Mediterranean Gas was incorporated by Dr. Theodore E. Theodoropoulos (FOUNDER). The company has been successfully permitted and sold to Golden Port (John Dragnis), in May 2024.

A Volos registered energy company, with primary purpose to build, develop, operate, and manage in particular LNG and Natural Gas Systems, in a safe, reliable and cost-effective way, for the country, the market, the industry and all consumers. The duration of the Company is set at 40 years, starting from the registration and publication of these articles of association in the General Commercial Register and ending on 15/09/2060. Mediterranean Gas will guarantee the diversification and energy security of Greece, Western Balkans, and Mediterranean Region.

Main capacity characteristics of the ARGO import terminal:

LNG Storage Tanks: 170,000 m3

Gasification of LNG: 250 MMSCFD/unit

Average regasification capacity: 590,000 m3 NG/h Maximum gasification capacity: 884,000 m3 NG/h.
